Aliene Louise Daugherty | Baskerville Funeral Home - Wilmington

Aliene Louise Daugherty, 77, of Streator, formerly of Wilmington and Braidwood, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025, after a long battle with Alzheimer's.

Born on August 8, 1948, in Silverton, Oregon, Aliene Louise was the daughter of Amos and Martha Porterfield. She married Doyle Ray Daugherty on December 19, 1970, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Aliene was a dedicated wife and mother, heavily involved in family businesses and later employment at the Embassy Casino before retiring.

Survived by her children Bridget Cavallucci and Adam (Jessica) Daugherty; grandchildren Jacob, Zakary, Scott, Aiddan, and Kennedy; great-grandchildren Bentley and Delanie; siblings Virgil Porterfield, Ronnie Bassler, Carlos Jr. and Michael Bassler, Loretta Schrodetz, Joyce Watts; and extended family.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband Doyle, and several relatives.

Visitation at Baskerville Funeral Home, Wilmington, on February 20, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. until the 11:30 a.m. service. Burial at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood. Funeral arrangements by Reeves & Baskerville Funeral Homes and Crematory. Condolences can be shared online.
