WILMINGTON — Patricia Ann Wise, 80, of Wilmington, passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, after surgery at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida.

Born on January 29, 1945, in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Patricia was the daughter of William and Hilda Nunley. She dedicated 38 years to the Federal Government, working at the Joliet Army Ammunition Plant and the Social Security Administration. Patricia will be remembered for her style, love of shopping, gardening, reading, and devotion to her family. A faithful member of the First United Methodist Church of Wilmington, she cherished time with loved ones.

Survived by her husband, Ken; children Tracey Brownlee and Mickey (Sheri) Hannum; step-children Sarah (Ed) Armbruster, Tammy (Brian) Cook, Mary (John) Tahlier, Amy Wise, Paul Morris, and Mark Morris; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; sister Faye, brother Leslie (Sandra) Nunley, sister-in-law Lindy Nunley; and numerous relatives and friends.

Visitation will be at Baskerville Funeral Home on March 1, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. until the 12:00 p.m. funeral service officiated by Rev. Harriette Cross. Virtual participation is available via live-stream. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Wilmington. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church or the American Stroke Association.
