Anna Mae Winke | Baskerville Funeral Home - Wilmington

Anna Mae Winke, of Gardner, Illinois, formerly of Lake Shannon, Reddick, Illinois, and Lockport, peacefully passed away on April 1, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Logansport, Indiana, Anna married Edward F. Winke and they shared a deep and lasting love until his passing in 2012. She is survived by her three children, four grandchildren, great-granddaughter, sister, and numerous nieces and nephews. Anna was known for her joyful times at the Lockport VFW with her husband, dancing to music at the sound of their song, "Unforgettable". In her later years, she enjoyed precious moments with her family, especially at the summer festivals. The family expresses gratitude to caregivers and Lightways Hospice for their compassionate care. A visitation and funeral service will be held at Baskerville Funeral Home in Wilmington, followed by private burial at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Donations in Anna's memory may be made to Lightways Hospice in Joliet. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Reeves, Fruland and Baskerville Funeral Homes and Crematory.
