James J. McAllister, aged 84, passed away suddenly and peacefully. He was the cherished husband of Gerry for 59 years and the loving father of Karen, Joe, and Christine. James was a devoted grandfather to Grace, Margaret, Olivia, and Owen. He will be remembered by his sister Marge, and is predeceased by his siblings Robert, Kay, and Jack. James will also be missed by his brother-in-law Robert and his nieces and nephews.

A retired pharmacist with 35 years of service, James was an active member of Saint Michael's golf league and served as an usher for many years. He enjoyed tending to his yard, exploring new destinations, and treasured time spent with family and friends.

Visitation will be on April 22, 2025, at Colonial Chapel in Orland Park, with the Funeral Service on April 23, 2025, at St. Michael Church.
