Jean B. McNamara, nee Gunia, aged 104 and currently of Homer Glen, previously of Tinley Park, passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late James L., the loving mother of Margaret Moore, James A., Thomas, William, John, and Timothy McNamara. Jean was a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother to many, and the cherished daughter of the late Tomas and Stefania Gunia. She was predeceased by eight siblings.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. until the time of the Chapel Service at 10:15 a.m. at RICHARD J MODELL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES in Homer Glen, proceeding to St. Francis of Assisi Church for Mass at 11:00 a.m. The interment will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Jean was a member of the St. Francis Prayer Shawl group.
