Country music artist Jake Owen is set to perform at the Illinois State Fair Grandstand on Friday, August 8. Known for his laid-back style and hit songs such as "Barefoot Blue Jean Night," "Beachin'," and "The One That Got Away," Owen has achieved 10 No. 1 singles and over 2.5 billion U.S. on-demand streams.

"August 8 is Agriculture Day at the Illinois State Fair, and this is the perfect way to celebrate," stated Jerry Costello II, Director of the Illinois Department of Agriculture. He added that country artists are popular in central Illinois, expressing excitement about bringing Owen to the Grandstand.

Owen, a gold and platinum-selling recording artist and ACM award winner, has released nine studio albums and appeared in the film Our Friend (2019). He is currently working on two new projects expected to release in mid-to-late 2025.

Rebecca Clark, Illinois State Fair Manager, commented on Owen's performance: "Jake Owen brings the kind of feel-good, singalong energy that defines summer nights at the Illinois State Fair." She expressed enthusiasm about welcoming him to Springfield for fairgoers to enjoy.

Tickets for Jake Owen's concert will be available starting Saturday, May 17 at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster. Prices range from $30 for Tier 3 seating to $95 for the Blue Ribbon Zone. A $30 Pre-Show Party ticket can be purchased as an upgrade for all paid concerts.
