Illinois gun owners are drawing attention to legal challenges they have initiated against state laws, which they argue infringe on their rights. The event took place during Illinois Gun Owner Lobby Day in Springfield, where hundreds gathered at a convention center.
Richard Pearson from the Illinois State Rifle Association addressed attendees about the ongoing challenge to the state's gun ban in the appeals court. "Doesn’t matter who wins, doesn’t matter who loses. Whoever wins will be happy. Whoever loses will appeal it to the [United States] Supreme Court," Pearson stated.
In addition to this case, there are other lawsuits pending against various Illinois laws.
