Thomas P. Connor, known affectionately as Irish Tom, passed away in Spring Hill, Florida, on May 7, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born on December 12, 1947, in Morris, Illinois, to Thomas E. Connor and Louise Connor. Tom spent many years in Morris before moving to Tampa, Florida, where he worked for the City of Tampa for thirty-three years before retiring.

Tom is survived by his sister Valerie Homerding, brother Steve Connor, children Thomas, Kristina, Shane, and Matthew, his fiancé Robyn Feliciano, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and numerous extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Nancy McCloskey.

A visitation for Tom will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, in Morris, Illinois, followed by a celebration of his life and interment at Sample Cemetery in Morris. Tom will be remembered for his loyalty, love of family, sense of humor, and willingness to help others.
