Richard L. Musto, Mechanical Engineer and Inventor, Passes Away at 89

Richard L. Musto, aged 89, was born in Medford, Massachusetts, to Elizabeth and Theodore Musto. A graduate of the University of Arizona, he served in the U.S. Army in Korea. Musto retired as Vice-President of Combustion Engineering at ABB Raymond after 40 years. He is survived by his wife Louise, children Ted, Paul, Andrea, John, and Tom, as well as grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Musto was known for his love for family, tennis, cycling, and woodworking. An accomplished engineer and inventor, he held multiple patents and was a member of professional organizations for over 60 years. Visitation will be on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Tews-Ryan Funeral Home, with a Catholic Funeral Mass to follow. Memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
