Mary Louise Wolski, 91, originally from Grand Blanc, Michigan, passed away on May 27, 2025. She is survived by her sister Jane Mitchell, children Roland Wilkerson, Philip Liaboe, and Mary Jane Maharry, daughter-in-law Paula Wilkerson, daughter-in-law Lauren Liaboe, son-in-law Jeff Maharry, and grandchildren Joan Wilkerson, Heather Lino, Kim Liaboe, Melissa Liaboe, William Maharry, and Haley Maharry. Along her career path, Mary worked in New York City, Denver, and St. Louis before returning to Flint, Michigan. At Mott Children’s Health Center and Hurley Hospital, she served as an RN before becoming Michigan’s first patient advocate, retiring in 1991. Mary valued enduring friendships, including one with Frankie Perry. Known for her ability to connect with others, Mary enjoyed discussing literature and movies, and exploring her artistic side with watercolors and poetry. A lover of laughter, fun, and early morning yoga, she found solace and inspiration in the works of Mary Oliver.
