Bourbonnais - Sandra “Sandy” Graveline passed away on June 25, 2025, in Kankakee, at the age of 70. Born on September 7, 1954, in Evansville, IN, to Deloise Mitchell Marsh, Sandy was a radiant presence filled with infectious laughter and a zest for life. She valued moments with family and friends, finding delight in her grandchildren who brought her immense pride and happiness.

An outdoor enthusiast, Sandy loved golfing, boating, and supporting the Chicago Cubs. Her loyal dog, Sam, was a constant source of comfort. Remembered for her warmth, humor, and generosity, Sandy’s memory will be cherished by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Survived by her husband Darryl Winter, children Susie Shepherd, Jay (Christy) Smith, Jamie (Keith) Nichols, and grandchildren Toby Schriefer, Bristol Schriefer, Kate Nichols, and Liam Nichols. Sandy is also survived by sisters Cheryl (Dave) Olszewski, Marvilene (Jeff) Quigley, Angie (Congressman Don) Bacon, and Robin (Mike) Grandpre. She will be forever missed.

A memorial visitation is scheduled for July 1, 2025, at Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home in Kankakee. Memorials may be made to the River Valley Animal Rescue in honor of Sandy. Online condolences can be left at www.clancygernon.com.
