Patricia H. Cherry (nee Burns), aged 100, passed away. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul J. Cherry, with whom she shared 64 years of marriage. Patricia was the devoted mother of Paul (Ann) Cherry, Michele (Mark) Zaremba, and Michael Cherry. She was the cherished grandmother of Meghan, Abbie, and Joseph. Patricia was the proud daughter of the late Michael and Mary Burns and the loving sister of the late Marie (late John) Murphy, Kathleen (late Louis) Filan, Marguarite (late Bill Hughes and Ted Marshall), and Rita Burns. She was a kind aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Known for her zest for life, Patricia had a passion for travel, reading, watching Jeopardy, and solving crossword puzzles with a pen. She was also an accomplished athlete, enjoying golf, bowling, and tennis.

Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-8 p.m. The funeral will take place on Monday at 9:00 a.m. from the Robert J. Sheehy & Sons Funeral Home, Orland Park, IL, proceeding to St. Alexander Church for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
