Violet C. Morse, aged 97, of Bonfield, passed away on July 5, 2025. Born on May 5, 1928, Violet devoted herself to her family as a homemaker. She found joy in baking cookies, creating art, and solving puzzles. Violet had a passion for collecting dolls and regularly showcased her creations at local flea markets and tractor shows. A member of the Bonfield Evangelical United Methodist Church, Violet’s creativity and love for crafts extended into all facets of her life.

Survived by her son, Scott Morse, daughter, Cynthia Clemans, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and nieces, Violet’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale C. Morse, parents, and brother.

Visitation and a funeral service will be held on July 9, 2025, at Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home in Kankakee, with interment at Grand Prairie Cemetery in Bonfield. Memorials in her name can be made to Vitas Hospice or Bonfield Evangelical United Methodist Church.

Violet will be fondly remembered for her creativity, love for her family, and the warmth she brought to those around her.
