William F. Vaughn, aged 76 and a resident of Romeoville, Illinois, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion. He was the beloved husband of Betty Vaughn for 56 years and a loving father to Amy Vaughn and the late Scott Vaughn. William was a dedicated grandfather to Brandon, Bradley (Kailey), Samantha, and Bryan (Bethany), and a cherished great-grandfather to Trenton and Casey. He was also a fond brother of the late Joyce Rich, and he leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews to cherish his memory.

Visitation for friends and family to pay their respects will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Anderson Memorial Home located at 21131 W. Renwick Rd. in Plainfield, IL. The funeral service to honor William's life will take place on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville.

William will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family and the love he shared with all those around him. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege to know and love him.
