Robert Arthur Logan, age 88, of Braidwood, IL, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2025, at Sunny Hill Nursing Home in Joliet, IL. Born on July 2, 1937, in Cobden, IL, Robert was the son of Wilmer and Beulah Logan. He married Judith Allen in 1960, embarking on a journey of nearly 65 years filled with love and dedication.

A U.S. Army veteran, Robert served with honor from 1960 to 1966, displaying valiance and patriotism. He was a Specialist (Technician) known for his technical proficiency and sharpshooting skills. His commitment to fellow veterans extended through his life membership with AMVETS.

For 32 years, Robert worked at Ford Motor Company as a union Dye Setter. He was an active member of the United Auto Workers (UAW). An avid golfer and bowler, he spent years coaching children in sports and camping with the Wooden Shoe Rainmakers Camping Club. Robert was a faithful member of Island City Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Judith; children Tye C. Logan and Yvonne M. Becker; grandchildren Clareesh, Danielle, Ashley, Denn Angelo, Craig, and Anna; great-grandchildren; brothers Melvin and Rodney; sister Roberta; sisters-in-law Jeannette, Peggy, and more family he cherished. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Curtis, grandson Robert, sister Dorothy, brothers Wilmer, David, Jim, Cecil, as well as other family members.

A Funeral Service will be held on July 18, 2025, at R.W. Patterson Funeral Home & Crematory, Braidwood, followed by interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
