Marilyn Gruber, 84, formerly of Bradley, passed away on August 14, 2025, at Hoosier Village in Indianapolis, IN. Born on December 8, 1940, in Springfield, IL, to John Jr. and Laura Walsh, Marilyn was a dedicated Junior High School Math and Religion teacher at St. Joseph Catholic School in Bradley for nearly forty years. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley. Marilyn is survived by her three sons, two daughters, fifteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and her brother Ed Walsh. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph, parents, and brother Patrick. Visitation is scheduled for August 17, 2025, at Clancy-Gernon Funeral Home in Bourbonnais, with the funeral Mass on August 18, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bradley. Cremation rites will be performed following the Mass, and inurnment will take place on August 19, 2025, at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
