Beecher, Illinois - Rita Ellen Clark (née Kregel), 82, formerly of Crete, Illinois, passed away on September 1, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Wesley (2010) and the loving mother of Jeff Clark, Nancy Barkhurst, and Nicole Potempa. Rita was also a cherished Nana to Justin and Tyler Barkhurst, Brandon Clark, Eli and Bailey Potempa, and Bella Valdivia. She was the fond sister of the late Shirley Piazza.

Visitation for Rita will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Crete, Illinois. Burial will follow at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Crete. Arrangements are entrusted to Crete Funeral Home.

Rita Ellen Clark will be remembered for her love and devotion to her family, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
