Kenneth Robert Rimkus, known as Ken to his loved ones, passed away on September 7, 2025, at his Willow Springs residence surrounded by family. Rimkus' distinguished career of 32 years at Amoco, including work at the Whiting Refinery, was highlighted by his academic achievements in Civil and Chemical Engineering.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Karen Rimkus, daughter Kristin Osterkamp, son Kyle Rimkus, son-in-law Dale Osterkamp, and granddaughters Brooke and Paige Osterkamp. Ken's passion for crafting stained glass will be remembered as a reflection of his artistic talent and attention to detail.
