John "Jake" E. Gorman | Vandenberg Funeral Home - Tinley Park
A passionate golfer, hunter, and fisherman, Jake found solace and joy in nature. Whether in a tree stand or by the river casting a line, he treasured his time spent in the great outdoors.
Beginning his career as a tool maker and advancing to become a die design engineer, Jake's work ethic and talents were admired by many. His incredible sense of humor endeared him to all, always able to bring a smile to those around him.
Jake's greatest joy was in spending time with his family and friends, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and love.
Jake is survived by his siblings: Mary Kring, Jim Gorman, Kathy Neagle, George Gorman, Patricia Buick, and Colleen McKenna. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Patricia Gorman, as well as several siblings.
A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at Vandenberg Funeral Home in Tinley Park, IL, followed by a Chapel Service. Interment will be held privately.
