Lois Virginia Reese, aged 94, of Godley, IL, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2025, at her home. She retired from the United States Postal Service as a city carrier in Downtown Chicago and was known for her generosity and competitive nature, especially in games with her siblings. Lois enjoyed reading, quilting, sewing, and puzzles, but above all cherished visits from her children and grandchildren. She will be remembered as a good woman who had a strong faith and will be deeply missed.

Lois is survived by her three daughters, two sons, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, siblings, son-in-law, and former husband.

Cremation rites have been conducted. A memorial visitation will take place at the R.W. Patterson Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday, October 3, 2025, from 10-12, with a memorial service at 12:00 p.m.
