The Illinois State Fair has revealed that Jordan Davis, an acclaimed singer and songwriter, will headline the Grandstand on Tuesday, August 13th. Davis recently achieved his sixth career number one with "Next Thing You Know," a two-time platinum hit from his album "Bluebird Days."
Davis, hailing from Shreveport, Louisiana, was recognized as Best New Country Artist at the iHeartRadio Music Awards in 2019 and Billboard's Top New Country Artist in 2018. His music has been streamed four billion times globally.
"We are excited to bring Jordan Davis to the 2024 Illinois State Fair Grandstand," stated Illinois State Fair Manager Rebecca Clark. "His chart-topping hits appeal to a broad range of country music fans, from traditional to contemporary. He's a crowd favorite."
Ashley Cooke will join Davis on stage. Her debut album "Shot in the Dark" is known for its heartfelt lyrics and captivating melodies. King Calaway will open the event with their signature sound showcased in hits like "World For Two" and their recent release produced by Zac Brown, "When I Get Home." The band has previously opened for notable acts such as Garth Brooks and Lainey Wilson.
Tickets for this concert featuring Jordan Davis, Ashley Cooke, and King Calaway will be available starting Saturday, February 10th at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster. Prices range from $39 to $104 depending on seating tier or zone.
A $30 Pre-Show Party ticket is also offered as an upgrade for all paid concerts. Tickets for other announced shows are currently on sale via Ticketmaster.
