IRS and Illinois Department offer tax update webinars in December and January

Representatives from the Internal Revenue Service and the Illinois Department of Revenue are set to provide updates and answer questions in a series of webinars. The sessions are scheduled for Friday, December 13, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (CST), Thursday, January 9, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. (CST), and Wednesday, January 22, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (CST).

Each webinar costs $55 and offers participants the opportunity to earn continuing professional education credits. Attendees can earn four CPE credits in tax through NASBA and two CE credits on federal tax topics or related matters via the IRS.

Interested individuals can register by visiting the Independent Accountants Association of Illinois website to purchase tickets.
