John Stanley Visus | O'Neil Funeral Home And Heritage Crematory - Lockport

Lemont – John Stanley Visus, 80, a longtime resident of Lemont, peacefully passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024. Hailing from Chicago, he dedicated many years to the IRS and was known for his love of gardening, strong faith, appreciation for the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, theater, and baseball. John's unwavering devotion to his family left a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Preceded in death by his parents John R. and Bernice Visus, as well as his grandparents, John is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Lyda Visus, nieces Katie Koch and Mary (AJ) Smith, and nephews Noah, Zach, and Ethan Mandra, Alex Koch, Payton and Draven Smith.

A visitation will take place on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel in Lockport, IL, from 9:00 a.m. until prayers at 10:30 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Dennis Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery in Niles, IL.
