Tinley Park, Illinois - Rose Ann "Ann" Serratore (nee DeMarco), 95, passed away surrounded by family on January 9, 2025. She was the beloved wife of Deacon Gregory Serratore for 74 years; loving mother of Anthony and Gregory Serratore, Maria Coleman, and Teresa Okrzesik; cherished grandmother of Gina Halvorson, Phillip Serratore, Daniel Okrzesik Jr., Matthew Okrzesik, Mary Kathleen Burklow, Mark Serratore, Patrick "P.J." Serratore, Nick Okrzesik, Lindsey Clifton, Thomas Serratore, Jessica Schloegel, and Mackenzie Coleman; and great-grandmother of 15. Ann was the dear sister of Rita Infanto, Anthony DeMarco, and the late Mary Marra; godmother of Donna Infanto and Dominic Donato; and fond aunt and friend to many.

Ann contributed to St. Mary Star of the Sea Parish for many years, serving in various roles and supporting the community. She worked as the Parish Secretary for 32 years, was the Past President of the Altar and Rosary Society and the West Lawn Little League Women's Boosters.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Maher Funeral Home (17101 S. 71st Ave. Tinley Park, IL. 60487). The Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, January 11, 2025, with Chapel Prayers at 8:45 a.m. from Maher Funeral Home to St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church (6435 S. Kilbourn Ave. Chicago, IL. 60629) for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park, IL. Contributions in memory of Ann can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
