Chicago Ridge, IL - Michael J. Maher, aged 82, passed away on January 25, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Joan Maher for 54 years and a devoted father to Carmel, Angela, Peter, the late Marion, Theresa, Thomas, and Michael. Maher was a loving grandfather to Megan, Patrick, Timmy, and several other grandchildren. He was the cherished son of Thomas and Hannah, and dear brother to Mary, Paddy, Kitty, Nellie, Bridget, Joan, and Thomas.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Curley Funeral Home, with the funeral service taking place on Friday, January 31st. The Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Ridge Catholic Church, followed by interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice are appreciated.
