Tinley Park, IL - Betty A. Hughes, 96, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Hughes for 73 years and the loving mother of Robert (Barbara) Hughes and the late Bonny (late James) Gaiser. Betty was the cherished grandma of Elizabeth (Kyle) Heneghan and Eric Gaiser. Additionally, she was the devoted sister of Rita (Chuck) Finlon, and was preceded in death by siblings Jean (George) Kuzma, Irene (Tony) Panozzo. Betty was also a beloved aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life for Bob and Betty Hughes is scheduled to be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, from 10:00am to 12:00pm, with a Memorial Service at 11:30am. The community honors the life and memory of Betty A. Hughes, whose love and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
