The latest data on adult-use cannabis sales for December 2024 has been released, showing significant activity in the market. According to the figures, a total of 4,515,972 items were sold during the month. In-state resident sales amounted to $120,765,168.30, while out-of-state residents contributed $32,453,184.74 to the total sales figure. The combined sales reached $153,249,701.54.
Throughout 2024, monthly sales figures varied but showed an overall upward trend towards the end of the year. Notably, November and December saw substantial increases in both items sold and total revenue generated compared to previous months.
For comparison purposes with December 2023 data: in that month a slightly lower number of items were sold at 4,213,747 units. However, the total revenue from these sales was slightly higher at $153,935,089.98 due to different dynamics between in-state and out-of-state purchases.
These numbers reflect continued interest and demand for cannabis products among both local residents and visitors from other states.
