Robert R. Gonzalez, affectionately known as Bob, passed away peacefully of natural causes on October 7, 2025, at the age of 92. Born on March 16, 1933, in Chicago, Illinois, Bob was a lifelong resident of his beloved city. He was a devoted family man, loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle.

Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Gonzalez, Bob's legacy lives on through his daughter Linda Gonzalez Tido and her husband Chris, his son Robert Jr. and his wife Belinda, his grandchildren, and great-granddaughters. Bob's joy was taking his family on annual road trips, creating memories filled with wonder and togetherness that will forever be cherished.

Bob's life was a story of love, laughter, and shared adventures. His presence will be deeply missed, but the memories created during his family road trips will endure as tales of joy and connection cherished by loved ones.

Visitation for Bob will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium in Justice, Illinois, with a funeral service on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, followed by interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois.
