Lockport, IL - Robert John Jirik, 75, of Lockport, IL, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025, surrounded by his family. Known for his generous heart, sense of humor, and zest for life, Bob will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Born on May 15, 1950, in Chicago, IL, Bob is survived by his wife of 53 years, Donna, their children Tony Jirik and Kimberly Lienhardt, and five grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends. Bob, a United States Army veteran of the Vietnam War, had a successful career at Central Steel & Wire Company and the City of Chicago. He was a devoted supporter of his family's activities, an avid baseball fan, and cherished time spent with loved ones.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home in Justice, IL, followed by a funeral on Monday, October 20, 2025, with services at the same location. Interment will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL. Memorial donations can be made to Disabled American Veterans.
