Louise T. Kohl, aged 75, of Homewood, IL, passed away on October 27, 2024. Louise was actively involved in her community, serving as an Election Judge and sitting on the Mokena Park District Board. She was the driving force behind the creation of the local event Halloween Hollow, bringing joy to many. Louise generously volunteered her time explaining art pieces to children at Willow Elementary School in Homewood.

Louise and her husband David shared a passion for traveling, exploring Frank Lloyd Wright homes from New York to California. An enthusiast of cars, Louise enjoyed her MGB, G375 Infinity hard top convertible, and her husband's Pontiac Solstice GXP. Above all, Louise cherished moments spent with her family.

She was the beloved wife of David E. Kohl for 43 years and the loving mother of Zachary (Heather) Kohl. Louise was the caring sister of John Tama, Kathy Tama, and Debbie (Tom) Teirnan, and the daughter of the late Frederick and late Evelyn Tama. She was fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews.

A visitation to honor Louise will be held on Monday, November 4, 2024, at Vandenberg Funeral Home in Mokena, IL, with interment to follow privately. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to TLC Animal Shelter in Homer Glen, IL.
